Mums Army Campaign

Just a Drop’s Mums Army campaign was launched on Mother’s Day 2015, with the aim of bringing mums and women together in the UK to raise awareness and funds for access to clean, safe water for mums and their families in developing countries.

In many developing countries around the world, the primary responsibility of collecting water falls to women and children, who have to walk long distances in order to find water – which is often dirty and unsafe to drink. Women and children embark on these journeys every day, knowing that the water they collect may make them ill, yet they have no other choice. The hours spent collecting water takes women away from income generating activities and caring for family members, and takes children away from their education.

663 million people still live without access to clean, safe water. That’s one in ten people.

Get involved with our Mums Army campaign this Spring!

Join our Mums Army campaign and raise funds to support these women and their families gain access to clean water and sanitation, which transforms lives.

Get your friends together for coffee or mums from school, plan a walk with a group, set yourself your own challenge (walk, run or cycle!). There are so many ways you can help support these women and their families…

This campaign is women supporting women, mums supporting mums.
