As Goodwill Ambassador, Derek Warburton will work with us to highlight the importance of access to clean water and sanitation, and his Ambassadorship will begin with a visit to our recently completed projects in the León region of Nicaragua.
Derek Warburton said: “I’m excited to work with an organization whose mission is to reduce child mortality by delivering accessible clean, safe water and suitable sanitation where it is needed most. We all have the right as citizens of the world to have fresh water and this should never be neglected.”
Fiona Jeffery said: “We’re delighted that Derek has accepted our offer to become a Goodwill Ambassador, and we want to thank Karen Hoffman and Bianca Pappas of the Bradford Group, Just a Drop Ambassadors in the US, for introducing Derek to Just a Drop’s work which resulted in his commitment to work with Just a Drop to raise the vital issue that without water, life is a real struggle and with it, anything becomes possible. Next week, Derek will join us on a trip to see our project work in Nicaragua, visiting recently completed projects and seeing the impact that access to clean and safe water and hygiene can achieve. We are very much looking forward to working with Derek.”
